| The Church of St Philip and St James. Dating back to the 1100’s with an original 14th or 15th century roof, its seventy foot tower, and memorial to the Fair Maids of Foscott as described by Samual Pepys after his visit in 1668, the Church of St Philip and St James in Norton St Philip is one of six beautiful churches to be found in the Parish of Hardington Vale. Tranquilly set within some of the most picturesque of Mendip villages, they are a delight to include in any rambling or cycling trip and you would be very welcome to pop in to any of their services, the times for which can be found on their web-site. | | link |
